Strong cybersecurity has always been an essential component of a company’s digital transformation success. However, the constant expansion of attack surfaces has made protection more difficult and a successful attack more inevitable. In fact, according to a Malwarebytes study, 75 percent of enterprises assume they are likely to experience a breach within the next one to three years.

When it’s not a matter of if but when a successful attack will occur, enterprises are reexamining their investments to build a security posture of resilience—one that strikes a balance between proactive protection and effective remediation. Indeed, 82 percent of security leaders believe remediation is just as important as prevention in an effective cybersecurity strategy. However, only 17 percent are confident in their organization’s ability to recover quickly from a malware attack.
