Studies by TechTarget’s Enterprise Strategy Group indicate that organisations are not as prepared for cyber-risks as they should be.

The Network and Information Systems 2 (NIS2) directive of the European Union, and the more complex threat landscape that has necessitated it, will make their situations even more challenging. There is a cyber-risk gap that is bigger than people think. Business or security leaders need to be prepared for the advent of NIS2. That entails understanding whether it affects their organization, assessing the adequacy of the existing cybersecurity posture, and training employees in NIS2 to at least the level they were trained for GDPR.
