Data storage is a core part of your security strategy
Prevent, detect, recover
Question one: how resilient is your anti-ransomware strategy? Question two: is storage part of that strategy? That’s right, your storage, not your backup.
Realists accept that it’s not a case of whether our systems will be breached, but when, and so we implement defence in depth. As those attacks become more complex, many organisations are using protected backup as a recovery strategy. But the cost and time to recover may still turn an attack into a crisis.
If your primary storage, on the other hand, offers ransomware detection, your chances of being up and running quickly vastly improve. So far, only one vendor offers this, and that why in our latest Regcast we’re talking to Chris McKean and Grant Caley of NetApp about their AI-driven autonomous ransomware protection and recovery capability. We’ll also be joined by Simon Edwards of SE Labs (The world’s leading security testing lab) who will be talking about the evolving threat landscape, and why this type of defence in depth is so important.
You will learn:
The increase in number and sophistication of security threats.
Why data storage is your last line of defence.
How to choose and implement storage so you can prevent, detect, and recover.
