How ZTE is supporting AI by embedding IT in the network
Transformation from the core to the home
AI is changing everything, and networking and telecommunications is no exception. So, what will the network of the future need to deliver?
We caught up with Peter Hu, ZTE vice president and general manager of Wired Product Marketing, at ZTE’s Global Summit and Congress in Milan, to hear how the company is adapting to a world where 60 percent of internet traffic is accounted for by AI.
Hu discussed ZTE’s strategic vision, which focuses on the increased convergence of networking and compute to serve AI. This includes transforming its All Optical strategy to AI Optical, embedding AI in the network itself, and using AI to make deployment much simpler.
All of which will mean a far more responsive, sustainable network, spanning infrastructure, campus and right to the AI Home.
