We’ve become used to voice activated systems on our personal devices, and have embraced, or at least, tolerated voice powered customer related systems for utilities and banking. Yet many in most workplaces, voice is saved for the phone, whilst everything else is accomplished via an interface that has remained unchanged since 1873 - the keyboard.

At this breakfast briefing, we’ll welcome Register readers to examine the state of the art when it comes to speech recognition within the enterprise, and examine their legitimate concerns - as well as the myths - when it comes to adopting it within their organisations. We’ll consider how voice can be integrated into their workflows, how to introduce it to the appropriate users, and how to ensure it's manageable and secure.
